Living and Risking

All who FLY risk CRASHING.
All who DRIVE risk COLLIDING.
All who RUN risk FALLING.
All who WALK risk STUMBLING.
All who LIVE risk SOMETHING.

To LAUGH is to risk appearing the FOOL.
To WEEP is to risk appearing SENTIMENTAL.
To REACH OUT for another is to risk INVOLVEMENT.
To EXPOSE FEELINGS is to risk EXPOSING YOUR TRUE SELF.
To LOVE is to risk NOT being LOVED in return.
To HOPE is to risk DESPAIR.
To TRY is to risk FAILURE.

We can all add to the list above. I can. What will life be without risking? As we wholly, continually, and completely depend on God and trust Him for our lives, what is there to fear?

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
II Timothy 1:7
